The business unit Tunneling belongs to Infrastructure and is worldwide present in may countries, governed by the HQ tunneling team in Germany.

Tunneling

As a worldwide leading technology, mechanized tunneling with tunnel boring machines (TBM) is particularly suitable in difficult ground conditions and in inner-city projects. Its success depends not only on careful planning and execution, but also – and critically – on ensuring optimal interaction between the machine technology employed and the speciality chemistry applied.

MC is able to support the full range of tunneling variants with optimally adapted system solutions from the areas of soil conditioning, pipe jacking lubrication, tail sealing, main bearing lubrication and sealing, backfill grouting and state-of-the-art concrete technology.

Injection

Injection systems can make a sustained contribution to the regular maintenance and repair of buildings and structures, helping to significantly extend their service lifetime.

Successful injection measures result from high-performance materials combined with optimum application technology, with expert planning and execution ensuring that the injection systems perform to their maximum.

You will also be supported – when required – by expert advisers and application engineers who are active at the super-regional and international level.

We are pleased to invite installation and application companies to have their personnel trained and qualified in our widely recognised application training courses, complete with external certification.

Concrete Protection

When considering constructing a new or repairing and refurbishing an existing car park- ing facility, planning professionals will have a number of objectives in mind. Among the most important of these is to protect the reinforced concrete from chloride attack and to seal all cracks and joints so that they are watertight. It will also be desirable to keep the car park light, bright and user-friendly.
